This project involved the installation of a new concrete tile roof together with extensive remedial works to the existing structure. Following the strip, significant deterioration was discovered within the original eaves and sprocket timbers, all of which were carefully replaced before the new roof was installed.
The roof was completed using bonnet hips and valley tiles to create a more refined finish, while the chimney was rebuilt using carefully selected brickwork chosen to complement the character of the property. These details played a key role in enhancing the overall appearance of the home.
A particular highlight of the project was the bespoke porch canopy. We designed and fabricated a lead cap complete with a hand-crafted welded Tudor Rose detail, creating a unique feature that perfectly reflected the client's appreciation for craftsmanship. The finished result transformed the property and remains one of our favourite projects to date.
